No More Typing the Same Clip Name Five Times

With several HyperDecks running together, naming clips consistently across all of them fast became its own small chore — the same date/take/tag structure, typed out separately on every single deck, every single time.

Templates instead of typing

Clip naming templates build a pattern once per deck from a handful of clickable placeholders: the deck’s name, today’s date and time, a shared take counter that increments across every deck together, a custom tag you set once and reuse, and the label of whatever scheduled entry triggered the recording. Click a placeholder to insert it, and a second click right after adds a separator automatically, so nothing runs together into one unreadable string.

The result: open a folder of clips from any shoot and actually know what you’re looking at, without anyone having typed the same thing five times over.
