Every update before this one meant the same manual routine: download a new zip, quit the running app, replace the old folder, reinstall. Fine once or twice — not something anyone wants to repeat every release.
One click, verified
HyperDeckSync can now check for a newer version on startup and, with one click, download and apply it automatically. The update is checksum-verified before anything gets touched, so a corrupted or incomplete download is rejected rather than half-applied. Decks, schedules, settings, and your license all stay exactly as they were — only the app itself gets replaced.
It still won’t restart itself automatically — quitting and reopening HyperDeckSync once is the one deliberate manual step left, because that’s a far better failure mode than software that tries to relaunch itself and gets it wrong.
